Hastings Civic Arena is home to Hastings Raider High School Hockey, Hastings Hockey Boosters, and River Blades Skate School. Built in 1974, the City of Hastings owns and operates this two sheet facility. With the classic barrel roof design, it is one of the great, nostalgic rinks of the state. In 1997, to keep up the demands of the ever growing hockey and skating programs, the city built a second rink and expanded the lobby, concession, and locker room facilities. Both rinks are regulation NHL sized. The East Rink (Original 1974), has a capacity of 1,000 and the West Rink (1997) can seat 200.

Hastings Hockey Boosters plays a large role in the arena’s success and have a great relationship with the City of Hastings.
