White Bear Lake Sports Center

The White Bear Lake Sport Center is a multi-sports complex operated by the City of White Bear Lake. Primary activities include hockey, ice skating, racquetball and wallyball. The Sports Center is open to the public with no membership fees.I

Public Skate

Available public skate times fluctuate throughout the year.  Public skating includes open hockey, open skate and dead ice. To find available public open skate times, please see the Sports Center calendar under schedules by clicking here.

Hockey

Open Hockey is available September 5 – March 29 on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 11:30 am – 1:00 p.m. Participants must be at least 16 years of age or older. Cost is $6.00/skater, goalies are free, helmets are required!  No reservations are needed – just drop in and play!

Proudly registered with the Ice Sports Industry (ISI),  the White Bear Lake Skate School provides quality skating lessons for beginning to advanced skaters of all ages. Out skating program strives to teach skating skills to recreational, hockey and competitive skaters to promote a life-long love for ice sports and recreation.

Skating Lessons

Skating lessons are offered throughout the year. Beginning classes tend to fill quickly. All skaters must be individual ISI members. Yearly membership can be renewed or purchased at the time of registration.
